Today, our message is called “Prepare The Way.” Drawing on the account of John the Baptist in Matthew 3:1–12, our message presents the kingdom of heaven through the analogy of a "Mercy Ship"—a divine floating hospital bringing free, transformative healing to a desperate world. Just as John the Baptist surrendered personal comfort to prepare the way for Christ, believers are called to repent by reorienting their lives toward the approaching kingdom. Through Jesus, the Great Physician, humanity receives a three-part transformation: complete forgiveness of sins, immersion in the Holy Spirit to experience and share God's self-giving love, and baptism with purifying fire. This baptism of fire acts as a refiner's flame, using life's daily challenges and opportunities to bring hidden impurities to the surface so they can be cleansed, ultimately producing ongoing growth, spiritual maturity, and a restored reality in Christ.
