Today we’re beginning a new study that’s called The Blood Covenant of Christ Series. This is Lesson Seven and it’s called “The Precious Blood Of Jesus.” The blood of Jesus, is very dear to Believers everywhere. Yet most Believers have a very limited understanding, of all that has been accomplished by the blood of Jesus. Our goal is to enhance our understanding of, and appreciation for, the Blood of Jesus. Because of His better blood, we have a better covenant, established upon better promises. The Bible presents a "blood line" of redemption that stretches from Genesis to Revelation, establishing the "precious blood" of Jesus as the ultimate, sinless sacrifice for humanity. This divine requirement began in Eden when God replaced man’s inadequate attempts to cover his own shame with the first substitutionary sacrifice, signaling that true atonement requires a costly, innocent life. While the Old Testament used animal sacrifices as a temporary covering, Christ’s once-for-all sacrifice at Calvary established a "better covenant" that provides eternal redemption. This blood acts as a permanent fountain for cleansing and sanctification, offering believers a divine forgiveness and the removal of our sins, that restores tour relationship with God and ensures supernatural protection by His blood.
