We’re continuing with our study that’s called The Blood Covenant of Christ Series. This is Lesson Three and it’s called “God Hears and Remembers. ”Following the divine covenant established with Abraham and his descendants, God remained faithful to His promise even as the Israelites fell into brutal Egyptian slavery. Recognizing their suffering and remembering His bond with their ancestors, God raised Moses as a deliverer to lead them out of bondage. Through the instruction of the Passover lamb—whose blood served as a protective covering from judgment—the Israelites were redeemed and miraculously sustained with physical health and divine protection under a pillar of cloud and fire. This transition from slavery to freedom eventually led to the establishment of the Levitical priesthood and the Law, which highlight God’s holiness and the necessity of a mediator. Ultimately, these Old Testament rituals and sacrifices served as a shadow of the "better covenant" fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the perfect Lamb of God and our eternal High Priest, who offers once-and-for-all salvation and intercession for all believers.
